| 背面描述 | A voided long cross extends to the full edge of the coin, dividing the reverse into four quarters, each bearing a trefoil of pellets in the angles — a design introduced with the Long Cross coinage of 1247 to deter clipping. A single pellet is placed at the centre of the cross. The moneyer and mint name legend is distributed across the four quarters of the cross in two-letter groups, reading continuously around the field. The cross terminals are pommée in form. Minor varieties in letter forms and pellet arrangement are recorded within class 5a. |
