Reverse description The reverse displays the Arms of Victoria as used on colonial tradesmen's tokens, struck from a Stokes stock die designated A15/R7. The shield, quartered with the Southern Cross stars and other colonial emblems, is supported by a kangaroo on the dexter side and an emu on the sinister side, with a rising sun radiant above the crest. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield bears the motto ADVANCE VICTORIA. The peripheral legend reads VICTORIA 1862 at the top, with T. STOKES MAKER. 100 COLLINS ST. EAST MELBOURNE running along the lower arc, all enclosed within a beaded border.
