A beaded inner circle frames the shield, separating it from the peripheral Latin legend rendered in uncial characters. The overall style is characteristic of late-fifteenth-century Low Countries hammered billon coinage, with bold relief on the shield and crown contrasting with the worn, irregular flan. |
