The cross is contained within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding field carries a Latin prayer legend in uncial characters, incorporating the regnal date in the form of a Roman numeral or abbreviated year. The overall die work is characteristic of the Antwerp or Brabant mint workshops of the 1480s. |
