| Opis rewersu | A large ornate floreate triple cross dominates the central field, its four arms elaborately embellished with foliate and fleur-de-lis terminals, with a small rosette at the centre where the arms intersect. Each quadrant between the cross arms is filled with intricate foliate scrollwork in the Burgundian Gothic manner, creating a dense, decorative composition typical of the briquet coinage series. The cross is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a circular Latin legend enclosed between two beaded borders. A date appears within the legend. |

Charles the Bold struck this issue from the Brabant mint during the years he was simultaneously prosecuting wars against Liège, the Swiss Confederacy, and René of Lorraine — a military overextension that would end with his death at Nancy in January 1477. The "Briquet" type takes its name from the flint-and-steel device associated with the Burgundian Order of the Golden Fleece, and its production across multiple Burgundian mints in this period reflects Charles's effort to impose monetary uniformity across his territories.
The billon fineness dropped noticeably across successive Burgundian issues of the 1470s as war expenditure mounted.
