Reverse description A large ornate floreate triple cross dominates the central field, its four arms elaborately embellished with foliate and fleur-de-lis terminals, with a small rosette at the centre where the arms intersect. Each quadrant between the cross arms is filled with intricate foliate scrollwork in the Burgundian Gothic manner, creating a dense, decorative composition typical of the briquet coinage series. The cross is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a circular Latin legend enclosed between two beaded borders. A date appears within the legend.
