Obverse description The obverse is entirely occupied by a multi-line Persian/Urdu inscription in Nastaliq script, arranged in three horizontal registers across the field, referencing Queen Victoria as suzerain. Decorative pellet ornaments are positioned at the left margin between the text registers, serving as separators. The legends are boldly struck in high relief against a plain copper field, consistent with the hand-engraved die tradition of the Jaipur mint. The overall layout follows the Mughal-influenced epigraphic style characteristic of Rajputana princely coinage of the late 19th century.
