| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features a recessed square cartouche containing the royal legend in Devanagari script across four lines, giving the name and titles of King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah Dev along with the Vikram Samvat date 1964. The inscription is framed within a raised border forming the cartouche. Decorative foliate and scrollwork ornaments flank the cartouche on the left and right sides. A short honorific legend appears above the cartouche at the top of the coin. The overall design is characteristic of the traditional Nepalese copper coinage of the early twentieth century. |
