Obverse description Central field features a recessed square cartouche containing the royal legend in Devanagari script across four lines, giving the name and titles of King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah Dev along with the Vikram Samvat date 1964. The inscription is framed within a raised border forming the cartouche. Decorative foliate and scrollwork ornaments flank the cartouche on the left and right sides. A short honorific legend appears above the cartouche at the top of the coin. The overall design is characteristic of the traditional Nepalese copper coinage of the early twentieth century.

Reverse description Central field displays a recessed square cartouche containing a three-line Devanagari inscription invoking the deity Pashupatinath and identifying the issuing authority as Nepal. The cartouche is enclosed within a raised square border. Decorative foliate scrollwork and floral ornaments are positioned symmetrically on either side of the cartouche, mirroring the obverse design. A short honorific legend in Devanagari appears above the cartouche near the upper rim. The reverse design reflects the deeply religious character of Nepalese coinage, with the national deity Pashupatinath as the central dedicatory reference.
