| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized trident (trishula) symbol, a sacred emblem of Shiva, rendered in relief at the center of the design. Surrounding the central motif is a circular Devanagari legend arranged within a beaded inner border. The outer zone is elaborately decorated with interlacing foliate and scroll ornaments in the traditional Nepalese style, enclosed by a dotted rim. The overall composition reflects the intricate hand-engraved aesthetic characteristic of Nepalese copper coinage of the late Shah dynasty period. |
