| Beschrijving voorzijde | Hammered copper flan bearing bold Arabic calligraphic legend arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line across the field. The upper register contains the royal titulature of Islam Shah, rendered in the Naskh script characteristic of Suri coinage. The lower register continues the inscription with the regnal date. The flan is thick and irregular, typical of mid-sixteenth century Afghan hammered issues, with a somewhat granular surface and slightly raised rims. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse displays the Shahada in bold Arabic Naskh script arranged across the flan in two registers, separated by a horizontal line dividing the field. The upper register bears the first part of the profession of faith, and the lower register carries the second part affirming the prophethood of Muhammad. The calligraphy is robust and deeply struck, consistent with the hammered technique of Suri imperial coinage, with the legend occupying the majority of the coin's surface and extending nearly to the irregular rim. |
