| Description du revers | The national Coat of Arms of Tonga displayed centrally, divided into four quarters: three stars in the first quarter representing the three principal island groups; a crown in the second quarter symbolising the Kingdom; a dove in the third quarter representing Christianity; and three crossed swords in the fourth quarter denoting the three Royal dynasties. A white star and red cross appear at the centre of the shield. The national motto 'KO E ʻOTUA MO TONGA KO HOKU TOFIʻA' (God and Tonga Are My Inheritance) is inscribed on a banner below.
