| 背面描述 | Mirrored version of the obverse design, featuring the same elaborate interlaced royal cypher of Gustaf VI Adolf set within an ornate foliate scroll composition filling the entire field. The dates 1882 and 1967 appear in mirror image flanking the monogram, with 1967 to the left and 1882 to the right. The relief and decorative scrollwork are identical in style to the obverse but presented in reverse orientation. |

Sweden's transition away from the bronze 1 öre came ahead of the 1972 coinage reform, and iron was among the metals evaluated as a cheaper alternative for low-denomination production. This piece is a pattern from that evaluation process — struck at Kungliga Myntet to test planchet behavior, die wear characteristics, and public acceptability before any commitment to a new alloy. Iron was ultimately rejected; Sweden abandoned the 1 öre denomination entirely rather than reissuing it in a base metal.
