| Beschrijving voorzijde | Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed imperial bust facing right, rendered in a crude, barbarous style characteristic of Germanic imitative coinage. The effigy is encircled by a border of pellets, a common decorative convention on late Roman and post-Roman nummi of this period. The portraiture, while derived from imperial prototypes, exhibits the simplified, schematic execution typical of unofficial or peripheral mint production. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A centrally placed eight-pointed stick-star or asterisk occupies the field, enclosed within a beaded or pelleted wreath whose branches are rendered in a stylized, nearly circular form. The wreath is tied at the base and its foliage, visible in the image, is depicted in a simplified, roughly symmetrical manner consistent with crude barbarous imitative workmanship. The overall design closely follows Vandal Sardinian nummus prototypes of the early sixth century. |
