Huarautambo is an archaeological site in the Pasco region associated with the Chinchaycocha administrative center used by the Inca during their expansion into the central highlands. This coin is part of Peru's long-running "Riqueza y Orgullo del Perú" circulation series, which the Banco Central launched in 2010 to rotate regional heritage sites through the standard one-sol format — a program that has produced dozens of types and created genuine collector demand for the complete run.
