| Beschrijving voorzijde | The national coat of arms of Peru occupies the central field, featuring the three-quartered shield divided into sections displaying a vicuña, a cinchona tree, and a cornucopia, surmounted by a civic wreath. The arms are flanked by laurel and palm branches tied with a ribbon at the base. The circular legend BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ runs along the upper periphery, with the date 2015 inscribed at the bottom. The coin has a distinctive eleven-sided (hendecagonal) inner border with a smooth outer rim. |

Huarautambo is an archaeological site in the Pasco region associated with the Chinchaycocha administrative center used by the Inca during their expansion into the central highlands. This coin is part of Peru's long-running "Riqueza y Orgullo del Perú" circulation series, which the Banco Central launched in 2010 to rotate regional heritage sites through the standard one-sol format — a program that has produced dozens of types and created genuine collector demand for the complete run.
