Reverse description The reverse presents an aerial cartographic view of the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret), surrounded by four archaeological motifs from the region: a coin of the ancient city of Tiberias (2nd century C.E.); a portion of the zodiac mosaic from the synagogue at Hamat Tiberias (3rd–4th century C.E.); a stone relief from the synagogue at Capernaum (3rd–4th century C.E.); and a fragment of a decorative mosaic from Kursi. The inscription 'הכנרת' (Kinneret) appears in Hebrew and 'Sea of Galilee' in English, flanking the central design in the lower field.
