Reading top to bottom: 常平 (Sangpyeong), referring to the Sangpyeong Office (Department of Price Stabilization of the Korean Joseon Dynasty); reading right to left: 通寶 (Tongbo), meaning 'current currency' or 'circulating treasure.'
