An elaborate foliate scroll border in high relief frames the entire field, with intertwining floral and arabesque vine motifs characteristic of the high Mughal aesthetic. The legends fill the field completely, with the script rendered in a flowing, deeply struck calligraphic style. The rim is plain and slightly raised. |
