Obverse description Irregular hammered gold field bearing a Persian or Urdu inscription in Nastaliq script arranged in two horizontal registers, reading the name and title of Empress Victoria. The lettering is bold and deeply struck, characteristic of the regal style coinage of Kishangarh, occupying the majority of the coin's surface with floral scroll devices visible at the margins.
