| Mô tả mặt trước | The obverse displays three horizontal bands of bold Nasta'liq calligraphy filling the entire field, each line separated by raised linear borders. The uppermost register bears the kalima (Islamic declaration of faith), followed in the central band by the emperor's name and titles, and in the lower register by additional regnal epithets. The script is executed in a fluid, deeply struck style characteristic of Mughal hammered gold coinage, with the legends radiating authority across the slightly irregular flan. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | The reverse is divided into two principal registers of Nasta'liq script by a raised horizontal line bisecting the field. The upper register carries a large, boldly struck legend identifying the mint name Shahjahanabad, while the lower register records the regnal year (expressed in Hijri numerals) and the Islamic year of striking. Small decorative pellets and floral ornaments appear in the margins, a hallmark of Mughal Shahjahanabad mint production. The deeply hammered lettering and slightly uneven flan edges are consistent with hand-struck Mughal mohurs of the period. |
