The entire design is enclosed within a continuous beaded border running along the coin's rim, executed in the robust hammered style characteristic of Newar coinage of the Malla period. |

Devanagari legends are distributed around the field between the geometric ornaments, with floral or pellet clusters filling residual spaces. The outer rim is defined by a finely executed rope or cable border, consistent with hammered Malla-period silver coinage of Patan. |
