| Reverse description | An elaborate eight-petalled lotus mandala fills the entire field, each petal bearing Devanagari legends relating to royal and religious epithets of the issuing monarch. At the centre of the mandala is a circular medallion containing further Devanagari inscription surrounded by a ring of pellets, evoking a traditional tantric yantra design. The petals are separated by concave cusped interstices, and the whole composition is contained within a plain inner circle and an outer beaded border, consistent with the coin's obverse periphery. |
