Obverse description	Central rectangular panel containing Devanagari legends arranged around a circular medallion depicting a stylised floral or solar motif in the field centre. The panel is flanked on the left by a decorative foliate spray and on the right by additional Devanagari characters and symbolic devices. Above the panel, the auspicious invocation in Devanagari script is prominently displayed between a crescent moon symbol and a dotted ornament, while the Nepali Sambat date in Devanagari numerals appears below the panel. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner border and an outer beaded border running the full circumference of the coin.

Reverse description	An elaborate eight-petalled lotus mandala fills the entire field, each petal bearing Devanagari legends relating to royal and religious epithets of the issuing monarch. At the centre of the mandala is a circular medallion containing further Devanagari inscription surrounded by a ring of pellets, evoking a traditional tantric yantra design. The petals are separated by concave cusped interstices, and the whole composition is contained within a plain inner circle and an outer beaded border, consistent with the coin's obverse periphery.
