| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features two large Chinese characters (壹錢, meaning '1 Qian') arranged vertically, flanked on either side by Arabic legends. The Arabic inscription to the left reads 'Kashgar' (كاشغر) and to the right reads '1 Mithqual' (١ مثقال), with the Hijri date 1323 also inscribed in Arabic numerals. A small star or pellet appears in the lower central field. The entire design is surrounded by a beaded border. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A boldly rendered five-clawed Imperial dragon is depicted in high relief, coiling dynamically across the entire field with its head facing upward and a flaming pearl at the centre. The dragon's scales, mane, and flame details are rendered with considerable artistic energy characteristic of late Qing provincial coinage. The tail and claws extend to fill the field, lending the design a vigorous, animated quality. The reverse is without a legend or border inscription, framed only by a beaded rim. |
