| Obverse description | Central field features two large Chinese characters (壹錢, meaning '1 Qian') arranged vertically, flanked on either side by Arabic legends. The Arabic inscription to the left reads 'Kashgar' (كاشغر) and to the right reads '1 Mithqual' (١ مثقال), with the Hijri date 1323 also inscribed in Arabic numerals. A small star or pellet appears in the lower central field. The entire design is surrounded by a beaded border. |
