Obverse description The obverse bears no central device, displaying instead the trilingual legend of the issuing authority arranged in three horizontal lines across the field: the Arabic script inscription 'فلسطين' (Filastin) at the top, the English legend 'PALESTINE' in the centre, and the Hebrew inscription 'פלשתינה (א"י)' below. The date is rendered in two numerals systems — Western Arabic numerals above and Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals below — positioned in the lower field. The coin is bordered by a continuous milled inner rim with a plain outer edge.

Reverse description The reverse features a centrally placed upright olive branch with paired leaves and small olive fruits, serving as the principal device and dividing the field. The denomination legend '• ONE MIL •' curves along the upper periphery in Latin script, flanked by the Hebrew value 'מיל' to the left and the Arabic value 'مل' to the right. The numeral '1' appears in large format to the lower left of the branch, with the Arabic-Indic numeral '١' to the lower right. A milled inner border frames the entire design.
