| Beschrijving voorzijde | Tuğra of Sultan Mehmed IV occupying the central field, rendered in the stylized calligraphic form characteristic of Ottoman hammered coinage. The tuğra, comprising the sultan's name and titles in interlocking Arabic script, is boldly struck across the irregular flan. The legend surrounding or integrated within the design reads in Arabic, identifying the ruler as Sultan Mehmed son of İbrahim Khan. The strike is typical of provincial Ottoman mint production, with uneven flan edges and variable depth of relief. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central six-petalled rosette or star motif prominently displayed in the field, a hallmark device of the Damascus mint during this period. The floral star is rendered with clearly defined petals radiating from a central point, surrounded by Arabic legend disposed around the periphery of the flan. The inscription records the mint name and AH date, as well as the formulaic invocation of divine favour upon the sultan's reign. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped, consistent with hammered provincial Ottoman silver coinage of the mid-seventeenth century. |
