| Opis rewersu | The reverse is entirely occupied by a multi-line legend in Old Sinhalese script, boldly struck and filling the field in a compact arrangement of three to four lines. The inscription reads 'Śrī Parākramabāhu', invoking the royal name and honorific title of the issuing monarch. Individual aksharas are rendered in a robust, angular style typical of 13th-century Sri Lankan epigraphy. The legend is surrounded by a continuous beaded border consistent with the obverse. The hammered strike results in some irregularity of the coin's flan, characteristic of medieval Dambadeniya coinage. |
