Beschrijving keerzijde Central vignette in richly coloured lithography presents the cloister of the Kloster Unser Lieben Frauen in Magdeburg, viewed through two Romanesque stone arches with two figures in period dress standing in the foreground courtyard; the monastery's Romanesque towers and arcaded façade rise behind them against a deep blue sky. Left and right side panels carry the denomination '1 M' in cartouches with the patriotic legend 'SCHON VOR 1000 JAHREN WAR MAGDEBURG' (left) and 'DIE HEIMSTÄTTE DEUTSCHER KULTUR' (right), each panel footed with a small city-arms vignette. A lower caption panel identifies the subject as 'KLOSTER U. L. FRAUEN. GEGRÜNDET 1022', with the printer's imprint 'FREUND-BELIANI-LPZG.' at the lower right margin.

Opmerkingen

MIAMA — an acronym for Mitteldeutsche Ausstellung für Siedelung, Sozialfürsorge und Arbeit — was a regional exhibition held in Magdeburg in 1922 focused on housing reform, social welfare, and labor organization, themes with real urgency in a Germany still absorbing the social wreckage of the war. The city issued this note as Serienscheine, collector-targeted Notgeld that was designed to be bought and kept rather than spent — a minor revenue stream dressed as emergency currency.

Brückner was a local Magdeburg printer with no particular prestige in the Notgeld trade, which shows.
