| Obverse description | Enthroned frontal effigy of King Frederik I, crowned and robed in royal regalia, holding a sceptre in his right hand and an orb in his left, seated upon an elaborately decorated throne flanked by ornamental candelabra on tall pedestals. The figure is rendered in the late Gothic hammered style, with fine drapery detail visible on the royal mantle. The central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The circumscribed Latin legend reading FRIDERICUS D G REX DAUN runs along the outer periphery between the beaded border and the inner circle. |
