| Reverse description | Printed entirely in blue-green, the reverse is composed of three interlocking circular guilloche rosettes of fine lathe-work; the central, larger rosette contains the Imperial German eagle with breast shield, while the two flanking rosettes each enclose the numeral '1'. The Fraktur title 'Darlehenskassenschein' runs along the top, the denomination 'Mark' appears to the left and right of the rosette group, and 'Eine Mark' is inscribed in ornate script at the foot. An embossed watermark seal is visible at lower right. |
