| 裏面の説明 | Central field displays the crowned Danish coat of arms — three crowned lions passant within a shield, set within an ornate cartouche flanked by the date 16-06 divided on either side. Above the shield, the denomination inscription · I · MARCK DA | NS is arranged in two lines, with the abbreviation DANS referring to 'Dansk'. The entire central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by the continuation of the royal titulature legend in Latin: NORVEGIAE · VANDALORVM · GOTHORVM · Q · REX, identifying Christian IV as King of Norway, the Vandals, and the Goths. A trefoil or shamrock mint mark punctuates the end of the legend. The lettering and heraldic devices are characteristic of the hammered coinage of the Copenhagen Mint in the early Baroque period. |
