Obverse description	Vivid red and grey letterpress design with two wine-growers in traditional dress flanking a central vignette of the Grünberg municipal coat of arms — a fortified gate with towers set within an ornate grapevine border. The denomination '1 Mark' appears in stylised script at lower left and right corners. A grey panel at the foot carries the validity inscription and issuing authority.

Verse inscriptions in period Gothic script appear in red panels at the top and bottom of the composition.
