背面描述	The reverse carries a large central vignette in a subdued black and buff palette, rendered in a Jugendstil woodcut manner by W. Klippert, showing the seafront buildings of Ostseebad Heiligendamm viewed from the beach, with rolling surf in the foreground and a colonnade structure to the left; flanking vertical panels in black display stylised crashing waves. The denomination numeral '1' appears in the upper corners and the currency abbreviation 'M' in the lower corners of the side panels. A Latin motto is inscribed along the lower edge of the central vignette, and the registration mark 'D.R.G.M. 795679' is typeset at the very foot of the note.
