备注	Altheide — now Polanica-Zdrój — was a spa town in the Glatz valley, and like hundreds of small German municipalities it resorted to printing its own emergency money during the severe coin shortage that gripped Germany from around 1916 onward. L. Schirmer operated out of Glatz, the regional center, and supplied Notgeld to several local issuers in the area, which accounts for the family resemblance across issues from this district. The DeNG reference numbers suggest at least four distinct variants in this denomination alone — differences likely in date, color batch, or overprint rather than fundamental design changes.
