A bold crimson band below carries the issuer legend in white Fraktur script, beneath which the validity date and two manuscript signatures appear over printed authority lines. Denomination '1 Mark' is repeated in black Fraktur at the upper left and upper right corners. Artist and printer attributions 'H.
