| Beschrijving voorzijde | The upper portion of the note is dominated by a dark background bearing large Gothic numerals '1m' at left and right, framing a central circular vignette of the Bütow town coat of arms — a fortified gate with two flanking towers and a shield charged with a cross, rendered in red, black, and grey. Below the vignette, a light-coloured panel carries the issuing text in Gothic script, with the bank name 'Bütow' in large decorative lettering. A serial number panel at the foot reads 'Konto B' at left, with a six-digit number at right, and the printer's imprint appears along the bottom margin. |

| Opmerkingen |
Bütow — now Bytów in northern Poland — was a small Pomeranian town with no particular claim to financial sophistication, which makes the choice of Flemming & Wiskott in Glogau as printer notable. The firm was among the more capable provincial German printers handling the flood of Kleingeldersatz notes during the 1921–1923 inflation period, and their work for Bütow shows more considered plate work than many contemporary municipal issues.
The Stadtbank designation is worth scrutiny — by 1922, many such "banks" were essentially municipal treasury offices issuing emergency small change to compensate for the near-total disappearance of coin from circulation.
