The denomination "1" appears in large orange Gothic numerals at both upper corners, with the title "Eine Mark" in decorative Gothic lettering across the top. Below, the legend "Gutschein für den Geldverkehr" and "Stadt Wiedenbrück" appear in bold Gothic script, with the issue date "1. 1. 1921" and two manuscript signatures with their printed titles (Bürgermeister and Stadtverordnetenvorsteher). |

At the lower left, the denomination "1" appears in large blue Gothic characters alongside a two-line descriptive caption in the same dialect, with "Eine Mark" in blue Gothic lettering at the lower right.
