At centre, the municipal coat of arms of Cosel is rendered as a heraldic shield surmounted by a crenellated tower in green, with two goat heads and a recumbent goat on the shield, flanked symmetrically by oak-branch vignettes; the denomination 'Eine Mark' appears in large Fraktur lettering to both left and right of the arms. | Opis rewersu | A large central oval vignette presents an engraved panoramic view of an industrial harbour scene, with a mine headframe in the foreground and factory smokestacks receding along a waterway lined with vessels, all executed in fine letterpress line work on a pale blue underprint. The numeral '1.-' appears in large stylised script at each of the four corners. Above the vignette runs a Fraktur inscription commemorating the Upper Silesian plebiscite of 20 March 1921, and below the vignette appears the validity clause. |
