正面描述 The upper portion of the note carries the title inscription in Gothic blackletter script against a dark band. Below, a panoramic vignette in blue-grey and black tones renders the townscape of Grömitz, with a windmill to the left, a church steeple rising above clustered rooftops, and trees framing the scene. A central red text panel gives the validity clause dated 12 Mai 1921, flanked on each side by large interlocked denomination numerals '50 PFG' in red and white, with two facsimile signatures below.

备注

Grömitz, a small Baltic coastal settlement in Schleswig-Holstein, was among hundreds of German municipalities that issued their own Notgeld during the inflationary chaos of the early Weimar years. The 1921 dating places this note in the second wave of local emergency currency — after the improvised wartime issues of 1914–1918 but before hyperinflation fully consumed the mark in 1922–1923. Gebrüder Borchers in Lübeck handled a substantial volume of northern German municipal Notgeld printing during this period, making them the regional equivalent of a utility printer for small-town finance offices.

The four-variant structure recorded under this reference number suggests the series was issued across multiple dates or authorization rounds.
