Reverse description Square salmon-pink note with matching double-rule border, printed in black letterpress on a speckled underprint. The denomination '1M' appears in the upper left and upper right corners. A vignette of the Siebenlinge Memorial (Siebenlingedenkmal) occupies the upper centre. The remainder of the face is filled with a commemorative inscription in period German blackletter script recording the birth of seven children to the Thiele Römer family on 9 January 1600.
