Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is printed in blue, black, and orange on white paper in a bold Art Nouveau letterpress style. The central panel is divided into three sections: two octagonal denomination cartouches reading '1 MARK' in orange and black flank a central vignette of the Prussian eagle coat of arms, above which a skyline of industrial rooftops is rendered in a dark woodcut-style band across the upper portion of the note. Circular medallions at each corner carry ornamental lamp or chandelier motifs, while the lower margin bears the issuing authority's manuscript signature, serial number, and a validity clause in script lettering.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse is printed in a deep dark blue and orange two-color scheme with a bold graphic industrial vignette set within a large oval frame at center, showing a factory complex with multiple tall smokestacks rendered in a stark expressionist silhouette against a vertically lined background. The lateral borders carry stacked oval and circular medallions with chandelier and lamp motifs echoing the obverse, while two patriotic verse inscriptions occupy the upper and lower horizontal bands in block lettering separated by ornamental bullet points. A small artist's signature 'J. Tressel' appears at lower right of the central vignette.
