| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a circular Latin legend, the central field displays a large conjoined HM monogram surmounted by a ducal crown. A small cow device appears in the lower field beneath the monogram, serving as the heraldic emblem of the Mazzetti lords of Frinco. The coin is struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered billon coinage of this period, with the legend partially visible around the periphery. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Within a circular Latin legend, the central field features a large ornate floriated cross with fleur-de-lis or trefoil terminals at each arm, occupying the majority of the flan. Pellets or globules are disposed between the arms of the cross in the four quarters of the field. The surrounding legend, partially legible on this irregularly struck flan, reads from the biblical invocation 'Sit nomen Domini benedictum', a pious formula commonly employed on Italian feudal coinage of the late sixteenth century. |
