| 裏面の説明 | Within a circular Latin legend, the central field features a large ornate floriated cross with fleur-de-lis or trefoil terminals at each arm, occupying the majority of the flan. Pellets or globules are disposed between the arms of the cross in the four quarters of the field. The surrounding legend, partially legible on this irregularly struck flan, reads from the biblical invocation 'Sit nomen Domini benedictum', a pious formula commonly employed on Italian feudal coinage of the late sixteenth century. |
