| Obverse description | Within a circular Latin legend, the central field displays a large conjoined HM monogram surmounted by a ducal crown. A small cow device appears in the lower field beneath the monogram, serving as the heraldic emblem of the Mazzetti lords of Frinco. The coin is struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered billon coinage of this period, with the legend partially visible around the periphery. |
