Within an open olive wreath tied at the base with a ribbon, the denomination and date are arranged in three lines across the field: the numeral '1' at the top, followed by 'ΛΕΠΤΟΝ' in Greek majuscules at centre, and the four-digit date below. The wreath branches spring symmetrically from the lower field and are rendered with fine naturalistic leaf detail. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded border running along the coin's rim. |
