Obverse description Central device consists of the quartered Greek royal coat of arms — a square shield divided into four fields by a bold Greek cross, the upper and lower quarters bearing horizontal lines on a plain ground — surmounted by a large royal crown adorned with pearls and a cross finial. The crowned arms are set within a plain field bordered by a continuous beaded rim. The circular legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ (Kingdom of Greece) runs around the periphery in Greek majuscules.

Reverse description Within an open olive wreath tied at the base with a ribbon, the denomination and date are arranged in three lines across the field: the numeral '1' at the top, followed by 'ΛΕΠΤΟΝ' in Greek majuscules at centre, and the four-digit date below. The wreath branches spring symmetrically from the lower field and are rendered with fine naturalistic leaf detail. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded border running along the coin's rim.
