Reverse description Central device comprising a royal Bavarian crown of elaborate design, positioned above two crossed regalia — a sword and a sceptre — arranged saltire-wise in the field. The crown features a prominent arched form with pearl and foliate ornamentation surmounted by a globus cruciger finial. The lateral legend PRO DEO ET POPULO is inscribed along the left and right periphery respectively, while the date appears in the lower exergual area, separated by a stop. A fine dentilated border frames the entire reverse.
