The effigy is draped and shows the Archbishop in clerical vestments. A circular legend commences at approximately 8 o'clock, reading the abbreviated Latin titulature for Sigismund, by the Grace of God, Archbishop and Prince of Salzburg. The lettering is set in the outer border of the field with fine spacing characteristic of milled coinage of this period. |
